Poppy P. Somniferum (Stoker’s Blue Odyssey) Seed

I am often asked which poppy I would grow, if I could only grow variety.

This is the one.

These hand harvested heirloom seeds are extremely limited. This is a single variety, isolated strain. They are not open pollinated. These are my own heirloom variety of P. Somniferum.

These are very special seeds. I don’t recommend using them as ‘practice’ seeds. Though they are not more difficult to grow, they are one of a kind heirlooms. These seeds are an investment. Hone your poppy growing skills with Afghan seeds for broadcasting. When you’ve gained experience, know exactly where and when to plant in your area. That’s when it’s time to grow these.

Excellent for small spaces. This more compact variety will stay under 6 feet tall and produce 15-20 blooms per stem.

This is the first I’m offering these seeds for sale. They have been in the ‘test phase’ for 3 years.

Stoker’s Blue Odyssey are a Starfish Honey exclusive. You will not find these heirlooms any where else. These are my trophy poppies.
